The Town of Ontario Historical and Landmark Preservation Society will hold the first of two "Summer Sundays" on Sunday July 8 from 1:30-4:00PM at the Heritage Square Museum, 7147 Ontario Center Road, Ontario. When attending the program, Early Occupations of the Villagers, visitors will have an opportunity to interact with the tinsmith, carpenter, teacher, milliner and other workers throughout the museum. There will also be a chance to learn about the history of root beer and to purchase a root beer float during your visit. The Senior Strummers will be on site for your listening pleasure. Games, dress-up clothing, and crafts will be available for children. The gift shop and buildings will be open, but there will be no guided tours during the event. The special fee for this event is $1.00 per person (children 3 and under free). Use Brick Church Road entrance. www.heritagesquaremuseum.org
